On the morning of Friday,July 16,2021,Lawyer Li Yan,a partner and deputy director of Henan Xianwei Law Firm,was invited to give a"Special Knowledge Lecture on Legal Risks in Construction Engineering Contracts"to the consulting firm Luoyang Huanghe Tongli Cement Co.,Ltd.The aim was to enhance the legal knowledge of the company's employees and avoid legal risks related to the performance and acceptance of construction engineering contracts.Leaders of Tongli Company,heads of Green New Materials Project Department,Production Department,Procurement Department,Logistics Department,Engineering Project Team,and Comprehensive Management Department,as well as personnel from various departments and workshops participating in the company's various inspections,attended the on-site lecture.Tengyue Tongli attended the meeting via video in the remote conference room.

PART01 Lawyer Lecture

In this lecture,Director Li Yan provided a systematic explanation of the issues in the practical operation of construction contracts from three major sections:big data analysis of construction contract disputes,process control of construction contract(contracting,signing,contract effectiveness,contract performance,construction period,visa,quality issues during construction,completion acceptance,contract price settlement,adjustment of contract price under different pricing models,control of completion settlement process,contract termination and termination),and handling of common claims by the contracting party.Through case interpretation and combined with his rich case handling experience,he answered relevant legal risk questions on site,which was highly recognized by the attendees.The entire lecture integrated practicality and guidance,deepening the understanding and recognition of attendees on the signing,performance,and risk prevention of construction contracts.

The consulting unit for this lecture is Luoyang Huanghe Tongli Cement Co.,Ltd.,which was established in 2004 and is a core enterprise under Henan Investment Group Co.,Ltd.It is one of the 50 key enterprises designated by the Luoyang Municipal Government.The company has a total of 526 employees and currently has two 5000t/d new dry process cement production lines,two sets of 9MW pure low-temperature waste heat generation units,and a demonstration line for collaborative disposal of urban household waste using cement kilns.The company has an annual cement production capacity of 4 million tons and an annual waste heat power generation capacity of over 100 million kilowatt hours.
